Retail Technologies recently deployed a mobile PDA sales solution to a leading agriculture supply company.

The solution enabled the customer to make sales know exactly what stock they had a the warehouse as the information on the PDA is live. The information is transmitted over any 3g network and sales are immediately transmitted to the warehouse for picking. This solution minimizes turnaround time and ultimately maintains best customer experience.

When the PDA's are not been used for sales they can be back at the warehouse doing cyclic stocktakes, full stocktakes, ordering or receiving.

Retail Technologies designed and installed industry leading hand held ordering point of sale POS solution into Ambrosia. Having a complex menu we installed 3 printers; one as a receipt printer, one in the kitchen and one in the bar area. Being a fine dining restaurant Ambrosia required full table service; our point of sale POS solution handles this effortlessly. Our table management solution syncs data from the handhelds and pos terminal in real time, so when someone is seated the table comes up occupied on the terminal as well as the handheld. The table management solution will also notify you of what stage the customer is up to i.e. received menu, placed order and received bill. The hand held processes orders as entrees and mains and separates them into seat numbers. Specials can also be placed on hand held so your staff always know what is going on.
