VARIOUS TYPES OF ORDER ENTRY

Our Advanced Cafe (Point of Sale) System supports various types of order entry, including sit down table service, pay at the counter, beeper and order number stand entry. Typically in a café environment, the customer pays at the counter and is given an order number stand with the table number on it, or a beeper which will sound when the food is ready to collect. You can enter the order number at any stage during the sale, with an option for the POS (Point of Sale) terminal to force you to enter an order before the sale is completed.

Kitchen Printer

In a bigger cafe you may have upto 3-4 printers, one for receipts, one for food orders, one coffee orders and another for other beverage orders. Our solution manages this seamlessly and will automatically send the order to the correct printer. We can also split orders and receipts from one printer in any combination i.e receipts and drinks come from one printer. Notifications will be delivered if for some reason the order is not printed like when you run out of paper etc. A wide range of printers are supported with serial and Ethernet options available. Our Advanced Cafe POS(point of sale) also makes use of 2 colour thermal printers to separate products and modifiers.

Phone Orders/Caller Id

Our Advanced Cafe POS(point of sale) system can incorporate our intelligent Caller ID or Phone Order module. Whether it is a pick up or home delivery you will have your customer’s details at your fingertips. These details include name, address and contact details, this information can integrate into other modules like the video ordering module putting these details on the kitchen display.

When the customer calls you will also receive information about their last order. This is ideal for customers that have favourites and also lets the customer know that you appreciate their business. As the Phone Order/Caller ID module fully integrates into the POS solution it is able to save time and minimise mistakes.

Our Advanced POS(point of sale) solution can even direct the call and delivery to the most appropriate store in the case where you share a 1300 number and have multiple locations. The street database can be loaded to ensure that you don’t delivery somewhere out of your area.
